Deposit Terms & Conditions:
A refundable deposit is required to book your appointment.
1.This is to cover attendance to ALL of your appointments with us, both photo shoot and viewing- both MUST be attended for refund.
2. A minimum of 72 hours notice is required to cancel/change appointments. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your deposit and another deposit will be required to rebook. On attendance of your viewing session your deposit is refunded to you, or taken off your order balance.
3. Lateness: Lateness to any appointments will be taken out of appointment time. If you are more than 20 minutes late to any appointment your deposit can be forfeit and you risk your appointment being cancelled.
4. If you cancel more than three times even if notice has been given you will forfeit your deposit and voucher.
5. Deposits will be held for a period of 6 months. If you cancel your appointment; Ensuring terms 1-4 have been meet, please ensure you make contact with the studio within 6 months; if you require a deposit refunded.
7. A maximum of three complimentary prints in a six year period.
Only one voucher/offer per family per year. The same people within the family are not permitted to take part in multiple photo shoots within the same 12 month period. If the same people want to take part in multiple photo shoot, the free products will be forfeit.
Why do photographers take a deposit before your session?
In order for your appointment to be the amazing experience you deserve, there's a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes before you even step through the door. The experience also gives you access to amazing photographic resources that truly make a fantastic experience. Depending on the type of portrait session you're visiting the studio for, each session requires a lot of preparation:

We reserve your chosen time in the state of the art photographic studio and the use of the specialist photographic equipment including cameras, lights, backdrops and may include photographic make up

Your deposit payment secures time with industry professionals who are assigned to your appointment including photographers, make up artists, image consultants and retouchers
Your deposit not only secure your time in the studio and with professionals, it helps to keep the diary running smoothly for all customers.
When do you take the refundable deposit?
At Hammonds Photography Studio every appointment made in our studios is subject to a fully refundable booking deposit payment. The payment is taken at the time of booking. Our advisors will find a date that suits you and talk you through the day so you know what to expect from us. They'll ensure you're happy with everything and give you the opportunity to ask any questions before processing the deposit payment.
Under what circumstances would I loose my deposit?
By paying the fully refundable booking deposit, you are committing to your agreed appointment time and date. Appointments can be re-arranged with at 48 hours notice.
If you give late notice your deposit will be lost and you will be required to pay another to rebook. Customers are permitted to one rebook per voucher. Cancelling completely will forfeit the deposit, so you do need to complete the experience to have it refunded.
Placing an order
Due to the bespoke nature of the product orders can not be changed once agreed by contract. We offer a non hard sale approach. Every product and service given is wrote clearly on a invoice/order form and a proof of images is usually given with a copy of your order form, either by print out or by email. Once a contract has been signed you can not amend this order. Failure to pay balance will result in small claims court.
Voucher Terms & Conditions:
1. Your voucher will be valid for 6 months from date of purchase.
2. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, voucher or package and is not redeemable for cash or any other goods.
3. This voucher is non refundable.
4. Offer is subject to availability.
5. This voucher cannot be used to purchase prints from previous session.
6. Only one voucher per family per year. The same people are not permitted to take part in multiple photo shoots within the same 12 month period. If the same people want to take part in multiple photo shoot, the free products will be forefit.
7. Failure to turn up for appointments with no notification will result in your voucher becoming invalid.
8. This voucher entitles you to one photography session & one 10”x8” print of choice excluding multi images. No further purchase is necessary, however the company logo may be added to the print if claiming just the free print due to copyright.
9. This voucher is not intended for photo shoots with friends. Photo shoot must include at least 2 generations from the same family to validate voucher.
10. Must be 18+ to claim free print.
11. Notification of sessions available, may be made by telephone calls, email or writing.
12. Photo shoot valued at £50 & print valued at £75.
13. The copyright to complimentary prints remains property of Hammonds Creative Studio Limited.
14. GDPR: Your details will be kept secure, and not sold on, or pass on to any third party.
15. Complimentary prints included within any voucher, need to reflect the voucher type, or the voucher title.
Family Specific
All terms and conditions listed in 'General', as well as:
1. A family photo shoot is defined by 2 or more generations. This is not intended for the children on their own.
2. For children under 18, a person with parental responsibility must be present at all appointments.
3. This voucher is not intended for pets by themselves, or groups of friends.
4. Families must be complete. For example, if a family has 2 children, both must be present at their family photo shoot.
Makeover Specific
All terms and conditions listed in 'General', as well as:
1. Makeovers are intended for 1 person. If friends would like a makeover, they must each purchase their own voucher & use on seperate days.
2. The free photo must be of the person by themselves.
3. Make up and hair styling is intended for the purpose of your photo shoot only, you maybe ask to remove your make up after your photo shoot session.
Pet Specific
All terms and conditions listed in 'General', as well as:
1. The owner of the pet must be present at all appointments. Pets cannot be brought on behalf of the owner.
2. More than 1 pet can take part in the session, as long as term #1 is met.
Vouchers from third party websites
- Terms and conditions are usually printed on the voucher or on the website in which the voucher has been purchased from.
- Our T&Cs remain the same as above.
- In the event you have mispurchased a voucher without being able to complie to the T&Cs please request a refund from the third party.
- In the event you have the photo session and do not meet the T&Cs of the studio or the T&Cs of the voucher there will be no complimentary product.
- Complimentary product must be of voucher type, ie family Photo Voucher complimentary product is portrait of your family (Complete), newborn voucher is newborn on their own.
- You are welcome to purchase extra products at your viewing appointment.
- There will be no further charge for your photography session which is valued at £75.00.
- A simular complimentary free product maybe may be offered as an alternative on some occassions.
- No refunds will be made to third party vouchers.
Prize winners Terms & Conditions:
As all above. There is no obligation to purchase further products.
Maximum of one winning prize per family per year.
Contact will be made by email/phone call.
You will not be added to any mailing lists, your details will be held for a maximum of one month from first contact.
Prize available/ valid for one month after first contact- if you wish to extend this, this is possible just let our team know.
When claiming your complimentary product please ensure you have your voucher or confirmation email of winning prize.

Placing an order (Frames/prints/digital) Terms & Conditions
- Once you have agreed on a sales contract with the Hammonds Creative Studio (trading as Hammonds Photography Studio), you are unable to cancel it or get a refund if you have signed on the business premises or you are buying bespoke goods or services. There is no cooling off period for such sales.
- If you have not received the goods or service, please make contact with us to discuss this so we can rectify the issue.
- Please ensure you read through your sales contract- a copy will be given to you by printout or email.
- Orders must be collected within 6 months period from notice of order ready.
- If you notice a issue with your order upon collecting notification must be made within 14 days (two weeks from collection) either by phone, email or studio visit.
Take care of your portraits! Don't place them in direct sunlight or in areas of high heat or moisture.
Copyright (excludes commercial customers and customers whom purchase digital images):
Images taken by Hammonds Creative Studio Ltd belong to Hammonds Creative Studio Ltd. The 1998 Copyright Act protects photographers by giving the author of the image (Hammonds Creative Studio Ltd) exclusive rights to reproduce the photos. This includes the right to control the making of copies.
It is illegal to copy or reproduce images taken at Hammonds Creative Studio Ltd without our prior consent action maybe taken if this is breached.
