We are experts retouching imagery which includes photo restoration.
We can preserve your photos by boosting faded colours and removing dust and scratches and re-cropping images to fit a desired size.
We restore existing damaged photos using digital technology to give your photos a new lease of life. We can even repair photos that have been torn in half; the photo restoration results we achieve are astonishing. The cost of this service can vary depending on the level of detail. Photos under A4 size can be scanned and edited the starting price for this is £20 per photograph. Photos bigger than A4 will require replicating in the studio and as such these start at £30. A high res digital image of each photographed will be emailled to you. Further printing options are available. Photo Retouching
We are retouching experts and can eliminate unwanted objects, people and backgrounds from photographs using the latest digital technology. If you have fantastic photographs of weddings, birthdays and holidays that are ruined by a tree or someone you don't know in the background we can correct these with our photo retouching service. Our studio photographers can add backgrounds or any special text onto your photos. We Photograph your Paintings for Print Reproduction
For amateur and professional artists alike, at Hammonds Photography Studio we offer the industry’s best art copy services. By creating a high-res digital copy of your original art and then printing it with our industry leading fine art Giclee printing process, we are able to produce a perfect art reproduction on your choice of media of your original work. We are skilled photographers and lighting experts with years of printing experience to ensure your Art work is copied to the highest quality. The scan prices below are for creating the high-resolution digital image file. Scanning is a one-time fee per original painting and the fee is determined based on the size of each original to be scanned. Once a high-resolution digital file of your artwork is created, it is archived on our secured database, not on a public server. Your digital files are safe with us and will be sent to you by a wetransfer.
PRICING FOR SCANNING ORIGINAL ARTWORK £10=VAT per image, upto A4 size (21x30cm)
For Artwork over A4 size there is a £30 + vat studio set up cost, then each Art work photographed and edited and provided to you as a digital image is £10 + vat.

Printing
- We offer a wide range of printing options.
- We print from 4inch to 60inch.
- Prints can be loose prints, mounted or backed on foam.
- We print on a variety of professional photographic paper: Giclee PF Lustre 270gsm, Giclee PF Gloss 270gsm, Giclee Photorag 308gsm, German Etching 310gsm, Giclee C Metallic, Fineart Baryta 325 gsm as well many other media such as PVC, aluminium and Canvas. How to chose your printing type: Photography prints are stunning and sharp usually on semi-gloss or metallic surfaces. Reproductions of pencil and charcoal drawings print usually best on a matte surface. Watercolor, acrylic or oil paintings printed on textured watercolor paper results in a rich reproduction that looks almost identical to the original artwork.
Framing
All our frames are made in England and made to order. We offer three styles Urban distress, Metro Frame and Vogue Frame.
We make our frames to order. Our frames option sizes are 10inch to 40inch.
Mounting
Hammonds Photography Studio offers a mounting service. Our mounting board has a ph neutral non-acidic white core, which will stay white for the life time of the board. It is at the commended level of the Fine Art guild. Cream, Off white, black and black with black core colours also available.
All aperture sizes (image sizes/holes) are cut 3mm smaller on each side, to accommodate the picture/print.
For example. The 20”x16” mount, with an aperture of 16”x12” has an actual aperture size of 15.75”x11.75”
Backing boards and bags are also available.
