Whats pin-up all about?
While the “pin-up girl” first appeared in 1941, pin-ups did not become a social phenomenon until mid-1943 when GIs wrote to their hometown newspapers requesting “illustrated” or “Hollywood” pin-up girls and, importantly, pin-ups of “everyday women.”
CLOTHING & OUTFITS
Bring along a few changes of outfits. These can be the everyday you with a retro, glam twist. With that in mind here’s few ideas:

We have a small selection of simple spotted dresses and tops that work with your high waisted jeans sizes 8-16, but if you have your own, this will likely be better!

PROPS & ACCESSORIES
Do you have anything that is sentimental like Nana’s tea cup, a piece of jewellery, grandads pocket watch? You could incorporate your hobbies or a bit of your personality! Are you an artist? Musician? Or love baking? How about dusting off the old Rolla skates?!
Challenge us with crazy, fun props that help you shine!
Jewellery can help to pull an outfit together. Scarves, pearls, necklaces, bangles & big fashion pieces also work!
We have a range of backgrounds and props, so you needn’t worry if you don't have anything to add to it.
SHOES
Be sure to have shoes that match your outfit(s) as your feet will be visible in your portraits.
Pumps, converse & dolly shoes look great. We recommend bringing along at least one pair of heels.
We have a very small selection of plain shoes in sizes 5/6, you are welcome to use.
Boudoir
Boudoir sessions come in so many styles, from the delicate girl next door, to the feisty vixen and the classical nude. We style the session to you. If you would like to focus on one style or a bit of everything you have the control.

Also, consider bringing along a leather jacket if you’re after a more edgy feel, oversized cardigan for a something cozy & cheeky or perhaps one of your partners shirts (if applicable) for something a little more personal.
SHOES
Be sure to have shoes that match your outfit(s) as your feet will be visible in your portraits.We recommend bringing along at least one pair of heels, and the bigger the better! (dont worry you don’t need to walk very far)!
PROPS & ACCESSORIES
Jewellery always help to pull an outfit together. There’s also a multitude of props we can incorporate - from umbrellas & fans to partners work gear and everything in between- provided it fits through the door, we’re happy to make use of it.
More usual props include masks, gloves, corsets - or anything you feel best represents your personality / alter ego.
